Everyone, watch out for the group leaders assessing keyers on the floor. The purpose of the program isn't to keep us "safe," it's so the USPS can tell employees their injuries are their own fault.

Interesting. What are they evaluating? Posture?

Posture, and all the other things taught during ergo: positioning of monitor and keyboard, angle of wrists, feet flat on the floor, etc.

That's really creepy. It's bad enough they have group leaders doing the snitch walk, now they're going to make notes about our posture?
No offense to you slcgl, I know your heart is in the right place. A few of your fellow group leaders though can be real jerks. Now they've got another reason to act like mini supervisors.

Are supervisors now doing the assessments as well? I have noticed supervisors walking around with pads, stopping at the end of aisles and taking notes.

I just asked a supervisor who said yes, they are doing some of the assessments. Good head's up for everyone, slcstudent.

Thank you for finding out!
That is annoying...I've seen my supervisor doing it and I'm unsure whether bringing it up and voicing my concern would do any good. I'm sure they're being forced to do the assessments like group leaders are, but still.

Knowing that supervisors & gl's are being forced to do the assessments doesn't make it any less creepy.
