So in this week's stand up safety talk, supervisor Liz said they have stopped hiring any new people.
There are 6 conversions this Sat, 3 to the REC and 3 to the plant. After that, she said new conversions would happen if a career quit or retired. I wonder how often the ratio is addressed- seeing as an avg of 70 ppl quit the Rec every month.
My first thought was oh no, Topple! An employee asked about conversions and he was directed to contact the REC's human resources staff for info. At least they post the PSE standing seniority list so you have some idea where you stand - that is somewhat new to the REC (in the last year or two.)

Wow! I'll continue to diligently key and try to keep all my stats up in the meantime. I think I'm going to hold off looking at the list but tempting to know that it exists. Thank you for the info, Mack! Moving this to the Announcement board if you don't mind.

Anyone who recently converted correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they allow people a choice of REC or plant. And I believe if you don't take the career job, PSE's are just let go. If they're not hiring PSE's right now, there wouldn't be a way back to the REC. If you're offered a career job at the plant, you should take it. There will be opportunity to come back to the REC in the future. You might not get another chance at being career.

Thank you for the advice. What do people do at the plant?
It's just I'm afraid of the "plant" and already got used to the REC which makes me nervous to go anywhere else.
